Veterinary services are available for most species of unique pets.  Just of few of the animals we have seen include:

  • Hedgehogs

  • Rats

  • Lizards

  • Ducks

  • Guinea Pigs

  • Due to an extreme allergy, we are unable to offer care for Rabbits.

When you own a non-traditional pet, it is important to find a veterinarian who is adept at treating them. You need someone who understands that your pets are not just small dogs or cats. You need a skilled veterinarian who loves your pets like you do.
Our team is highly trained and educated in caring for exotic pets, so you can rest assured that your pets are in good hands. Our technicians are skilled when it comes to restraining your pets without stressing them out. It is our goal to give your pets a stress-free visit, and to prove you with the information and veterinary care you need for your companion animal.

We are proud to care for, Guinea Pigs, mice, rats, hamsters, ferrets, and other small mammals. Whether you have questions about their diet, husbandry, or have concerns about their health, we are there for you. We offer general medicine and surgery for small mammals, including spay and neuter, as well as dentistry services, and will guide you through any challenge you and your pet may face.

Not all pets are furry! We like scales too, and we are proud to provide care for reptile and amphibian patients, such as bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, frogs and salamanders.

Caring for reptiles and amphibians can be challenging but very rewarding. It is important for pet owners to be educated on the needs of their pets. Nutrition and a proper habitat are major components of properly caring for reptiles and amphibians. We are proud to offer medical and surgical services for these pets.

We are happy to see your "pocket pets" for wellness exams, diagnostics and even surgeries on some.
Dr. Langan and her staff always look forward to meeting different types of pets.  Wellness visits for these non-traditional pets usually involve a thorough physical exam and a discussion about husbandry (diet, enclosure, etc.). Our team can offer personalized recommendations to help you care for your exotic pet and help them live a long, happy life.
